This pedigree was a cross that I have wanted to do since I lost my precious Mount Joy's Molly in 2001. It's about as close as I will ever get to one of the most amazing farm dogs I've ever had the privilege of working by my side.  Read about Molly in our about us page!
When we lost her grandmother Coco, this breeding was intended to try to fill her shoes as the role of trusty chore and guard dog too, which is important when you live in the sticks! Meg is so much like Coco it gives us chills!  To top it off the working ability we've seen thus far has really surpassed out expectations!!

Meg was a no fuss dog to start on stock. I unsnapped the leash and she went straight to fetching in the 100x 200 without slicing and dicing, being unfair or anything of the nature. She has a great sense of balance and keeps her group very well. We don't really have much intention of trialing Meg, we enjoy having a dog that is a lot like her Grandma Coco. She rides in the tractor like her and enjoys going out to hold gates while we feed cattle. One of the things I like best about this dog and the dogs of mine that she goes back to, is that they are very forgiving dogs with no quit. They have been very successful in the hands of farmers and ranchers who are not trainers and need a dog that will pick up on what they want easily and keep trying in stressful situations.

Meg goes back to the great Las Rocosa bred dogs at Tucker Creek, including Tucker himself. As well, High Plains Pincie Creek Panda who was a daughter of Peters Ranch Dillon. On the bottom she is out of a bitch I raised named Daisy who was by MJ Kasey. Kasey was sired by Ruff Stock Blaze of Glory whom I brought back from Alberta for a friend from Ruff Stock Aussies. Blaze was a son of one of the nicest Aussies I've seen, WTCH Hangin Tree Huck Finn. Kasey's dam was my Peters Ranch Spook daughter we called Dora. Daisy's dam was our Coco, who was Mistretta on the top and went back to Las Rocosa dogs on the bottom, including Kyle. As you can see, Meg hold a very special place in our hearts!
